Team development adventure package
The Outer Edge designs team training packages specific to your team’s developmental needs. Outdoor activities provide an ideal and unique tool and environment with which to explore effective teamwork; time, budget and resource management; problem solving; navigation; endurance; leadership; research and information gathering outside of the workplace. We provide the opportunity for you and your staff to have fun, learn more about themselves and their colleagues develop valuable new skills and for you to introduce improvements when you all return to the office and review the outcomes.
Groups will be presented with challenges and problems to solve through a series of team tasks which involve your choice in outdoor sports such as rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing, raft building, mountain biking and archery. After each challenge, your staff will be given the opportunity to discuss their thoughts, experiences, consequences of decisions and learning in an open and constructive environment – the outcomes, learning and skills are then brought back to the workplace.

The Outer Edge provided a unique official opening event for Travelodge’s new hotel in Hereford in an exciting SAS abseil stunt. Our instructors (dressed in convincing SAS gear!) abseiled down the walls of the hotel and broke into the hotel as local dignitaries and reporters looked on in disbelief!
